Behind AMP5 is AmpSociety, an established Swedish manufacturer with direct roots in ChargeNode – Sweden's largest charging station operator with over 60,000 charging points in active operation. This experience from the daily operation of one of Europe's largest charging networks flows directly into the hardware development of AMP5.

AMP5 was born from the practice of a charging network operator. Every design decision – from the wired ConnectBar to the modular component structure to native OCPP 2.0.1 – addresses a concrete problem from daily operations: ease of service, reliability, simple component replacement in the field. Not a lab product, but hardware iterated under real operating conditions – robust, long-lasting, reduced to the essentials.
