Outdoor car parks (commercial & sites)

Save costs with smart installation: One feed line is enough. Instead of a trench to every pillar, power is distributed above ground. The charging points stand on screw foundations, without concrete. Additional charging points can be added without further civil works.

Underground garages (car parks, apartment buildings & condominiums)

Less complexity, minimal maintenance: Data runs directly through the cables – no Wi-Fi infrastructure needed. That means fewer system components, faster installation and minimal support effort.

Cheaper than individual wallboxes – and even more so when expanding. Less civil works, no concrete foundations, and no new feed line for additional charging points. Our cost comparison based on an example project shows what this means in practice.

Behind AMP5 is AmpSociety, an established Swedish manufacturer with direct roots in ChargeNode – Sweden's largest charging station operator with over 60,000 charging points in active operation. This experience from the daily operation of one of Europe's largest charging networks flows directly into the hardware development of AMP5.

AMP5 was born from the practice of a charging network operator. Every design decision – from the wired ConnectBar to the modular component structure to native OCPP 2.0.1 – addresses a concrete problem from daily operations: ease of service, reliability, simple component replacement in the field. Not a lab product, but hardware iterated under real operating conditions – robust, long-lasting, reduced to the essentials.

With the AMP5 Planner, you capture your project in a structured way in just a few steps and hand it over directly to Ferratec. Number of charging points, mounting type, cable routing and load management are mapped in the tool – so we have all the information we need for a reliable quote.
